Sulfoforte Seeds - Dr. Jacob's

High quality organic broccoli seeds containing natural sulforaphane (up to 800mg in 100g of the product) and glucoraphanin (up to 600 mg in 100g of the product). This is a naturally derived product, therefore values may fluctuate slightly. 

This is a vegan product.

The secondary plant compounds glucoraphanin and sulforaphane belong to the group glucosinolates. They are found in cruciferous plants such as cabbage, kohlrabi, radish, broccoli, mustard or horseradish. They are also responsible for their (slightly) spicy taste.

Broccoli is a very good source of them, especially the seeds and sprouts. These compounds are water-soluble and very sensitive to heat, so cooking vegetables causes them to be lost. You would need to eat about 114 kg of cooked broccoli to get the same amount of sulforaphane and glucoraphanin contained in a teaspoon (10 g) of Sulfo Forte broccoli seeds.

INGREDIENTS: broccoli seeds Brassica rapa sylvestris.

DIRECTIONS: Sulfo Forte can be added to sandwiches and other dishes.

Sample recipe for Dr. Jacob's pesto rich in phytochemicals and polyphenols:

2 teaspoons (8-10 g) broccoli seeds Sulfo forte (glucosinolate),
3 teaspoons (15 g) flaxseed (lignans, fibre, omega-3 fatty acids),
30 g salt-free tomato concentrate (lycopene),
1 teaspoon TocoProtect (tocopherols, tocotrienols, polyphenols),
1 teaspoon turmeric powder (curcumin) or 1 capsule Kurkumin K2 spread,
10 ml of Polifenum Forte (highly concentrated polyphenols from pomegranate, tomatoes and grapes).

Optionally add 5g of sharp horseradish (glucosinolate and myrosinase), a drop of Sunshine Vitamin D3, parsley or another favourite ingredient.

Grind the broccoli seeds and flaxseed in a grinder or blender. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until you have a paste. Store in the fridge and preferably consume the same day.
